Adaptive Adventures

Adaptive Adventures is working to advance the quality of life of people with disabilities through outdoor sports and recreation. The agency identifies, promotes, and provides progressive sports and recreation opportunities for children, adults and veterans with physical disabilities.


Alpine Skills International

America's original all-terrain backcountry ski mountaineering, avalanche education and climbing program based in the Sierra Nevada, visiting the greatest ranges of the world. Bay Area Outreach & Recreation Program

Challenged Athletes Foundation

Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) is a unique organization that recognizes the athletic greatness inherent in all people with physical challenges and supports their athletic endeavors by providing grants for training, competition and equipment needs.


Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center

The Mission of the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center is to promote the physical, psychological and social well-being of persons with disabilities through their interaction with a therapeutic team consisting of a horse, an instructor and/or a therapist, and volunteers.


Disabled Sports USA

Disabled Sport USA’s mission is to provide national leadership and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop independence, confidence, and fitness through participation in community sports, recreation and educational programs.


Dolphin Harbor Miami Seaquarium

You've heard the mysterious legends and fascinating facts about dolphins, one of the world's most magnificent marine mammals.  Now, you can have a hands-on experience with one of these amazing animals at Dolphin Harbor, the new home to our dolphin interaction programs at Miami Seaquarium.


Environmental Travel Companions

Environmental Traveling Companions believes that everyone, regardless of physical or financial limitations, should have the opportunity to experience the challenge and beauty of the wilderness. Through ETC's Sea Kayaking, River Rafting, Cross-Country Skiing and Youth Leadership School adventures people with disabilities and other special needs overcome perceived limitations, attain greater personal freedom and confidence, and better understand themselves in relation to others and the environment.

Florida's state park system is one of the largest in the country with 160 parks, most of which are open 365 days a year. Florida's state parks, which span more than 700,000 acres and include more than 100 miles of sandy white beach, provide an affordable outing for people of all ages.

Good Hope Equestrian Training Center

Good Hope Equestrian Training Center has served the recreational, social, vocational and rehabilitative needs of Miami-Dade County’s individuals with disabilities since 1999, augmenting their independence, employability potential, and quality of life. The organization’s goal is to foster personal growth in each of its consumers, providing them the opportunity to participate in equine-related training regardless of their physical, mental, social or financial limitations.


Guide Dogs for the Blind

Guide Dogs for the Blind provides enhanced mobility to qualified individuals through partnership with dogs whose unique skills are developed and nurtured by dedicated volunteers and a professional staff.


Miami TaiChi

Tai Chi is an ancient practice that has proven to be an effective exercise and recreation outlet with numerous health benefits. Alliance Qi Gong Taiji, Inc., based in Miami, Florida offers a program that will help you derive all the enjoyment and health benefits of practicing Tai Chi. Classes are open to students new to the practice as well as advanced students.


Move With Freedom

Move With Freedom brings together a wide range of designers, users, and engineers to create new vehicles that help people with handicaps return to freedom.


No Limits

Mark Wellman, 44, has been a mountaineer since the age of 12. Wellman has ascended over 50 Sierra Nevada peaks, including the French Alps. A freak accident on his descent of the Seven Gables in the John Muir Wilderness left him paralyzed from the waist down in 1982.


Nordic Walk Now

Nordic walking offers many physiological benefits including heart health, weight loss, promotes excellent posture, back health and more. Using Nordic walking poles for fitness or stability facilitates a full-body stimulation, an interaction with the downward pull of gravity that creates bone density and spreads the effort throughout your body. Proper skills and safe techniques bring about a user-friendly, low-impact workout experience. Use of poles is ageless and without limits, from kids to grandmas to athletes, and those with disabilities.


Shake-A-Leg Miami

Shake-A-Leg Miami is one of the largest adaptive water sports facilities in the United States, having earned a well-deserved reputation for excellence and innovation. Its integration of education, recreation, health and wellness, and workforce training serves to enhance an already superb reputation and promises further expansion in the very near future.


Sport in Society, a Northeastern University Center

Through innovative programming and extensive outreach that impacts thousands both locally and worldwide, Sport in Society uses the power and appeal of sport to foster diversity, prevent men’s violence against women, eradicate youth violence, and improve the health of disenfranchised urban youth, all of which are critical to the health and safety of our citizens.


Squaw Valley Adventure Center

The Squaw Valley Adventure Center was established to offer new and interesting adventure activities in Squaw Valley. We hold the belief that outdoor activities are fun, therapeutic and when paired with the process of experiential education can enhance personal and group awareness and improve family and group bonds.


Team Paradise

Team Paradise provides paralympic sailing equipment and coaching support to disabled athletes from around the globe.


The City of Miami Parks & Recreation

The City of Miami Parks and Recreation Department extends an open invitation for all citizens and visitors to experience the diverse programs and facilities available through the City.


The Mission Continues

The Mission Continues exists to unite veterans and their fellow citizens in shared service to our nation. They accomplish their mission through unique The Mission Continues programs. These include the Fellowship, Veterans Tribute, and Warriors in Service programs.


Turning P.O.I.N.T. Tahoe

Turning Point Tahoe creates outdoor recreation and environmental education for people with disabilities in the Truckee / Tahoe area. Our activities include camping, fishing, boating, hiking and cross country skiing. The mission is to raise the standard of living and change the consciousness of what is possible for persons with disabilities. We do this by networking with existing resources, groups and programs to connect people to information, equipment, activities and programs.


World T.E.A.M. Sports

World T.E.A.M Sports (The Exceptional Athlete Matters) uses the universal power of sports to create soul-stirring experiences by teaming disabled athletes with able-bodied athletes, forming a true TEAM.
