No Barriers is AWESOME! It was the first time my son was able to ride a bike since his illness. Someone told him he probably couldn't ride the bike. My son said yes I can and off he went.

scubaREMEMBER YOUR RELEASE & CONSENT FORMS
All participants must complete a No Barriers Festival General Release and Assumption of Risk and a Shake-A-Leg Consent form.  We'll have these available onsite; however, you can print them from our website and complete them ahead of time if you prefer.
Some clinics require additional releases for participants. Please complete these forms and bring them with you to the clinic.
Therapeutic Horseback Riding requires your Doctor's consent to ride - so plan ahead by making an appointment with your Doctor today. Print off the medical history form and bring it to your doctor at your appointment for his or her signed consent. You will not be allowed to participate in this clinic without Doctor consent. PLEASE SEND THIS FORM TO NO BARRIERS BEFORE FESTIVAL 2009.
SCUBA and Open-Water Swimming also require releases, which are online. Please see our QUICK LINKS section for more information.
GPS WalkBLIND SAILORS TO CONQUER BISCAYNE BAY
In the spirit of adventure pioneered by blind explorer and sailor James Holman in 1820, modern day explorers Mike May and Scott Duncan will team up for the very first time to combine their GPS and sailing skills to navigate Biscayne Bay without sight. Scott is on a temporary break from his boat in Australia. Mike is a world traveler famous for his downhill speed skiing and GPS navigation in over 30 countries. Mike and Scott are proof that the blind can lead the blind as well as the sighted. Participants and media may join them for a sail.
