NBUSA's Extreme Makeover!
With so many people coming to No Barriers looking for answers, we needed to up the ante. Over the past few months, we at NBUSA have been performing a little surgery on our website behind the scenes and now you can see our new look at www.nobarriersusa.org.
Our festivals are hugely successful. However, post event, participants are always seeking information on what they saw, heard about, or tried during the event, as well as information on any developments of technologies since the last festival. Based on this high demand, we changed our online presence to become a portal for developers, direct service organizations and participants seeking to inform, educate, or find resources that assist people in living healthier, more active lives. A significant piece to the new educational portal is the educational clips of past festival clinics and technology symposiums and the developing resource catalog. Currently, when an individual searches the web for resources, they cannot find one comprehensive site where both adaptive equipment and service organizations are listed. Over time, NBUSA's resource catalog will become the one-stop shop for finding anything adaptive. Additionally, the website has been made more accessible for the visually impaired.
We are excited about our new look and hope you will enjoy all the new features and pages!

Things you definitely don't want to miss on our new website!
Resource Catalog
Often NBUSA receives inquires about where to find adaptive equipment, devices or organizations that serve people with challenges who want a more active life.
The Resource Catalog helps you locate companies and organizations who provide adaptive products and services for people with disabilities. All organizations listed here believe in the No Barriers mission of making life accessible to everyone. If you know of an organization or company that should be listed, please submit it for review - upon approval, it will be listed in our Resource Catalog.
Educational Resource Center
We have greatly expanded the amount of videos that provide education on adaptive recreational activities, adaptive products, and current research. Now you can view over thirty videos and search from them based on differing criteria. Also included are some new inspirational videos by Jesse Billauer, Erik Weihenmayer and the climb that inspired the creation of No Barriers USA - "Beyond the Barriers.".
Interesting Stories
On the home page of No Barriers USA, you can find interesting stories about a variety of participants, volunteers, and board of directors. See why they love No Barriers USA and what inspires them to continue to shatter barriers.
Get Involved - Event Calendar
No Barriers USA wants to put your event in our calendar! We are creating a nationwide event calendar for people to find interesting, adventurous activities that they can participate in - with or without a disability. If you would like to submit an event, please visit the Get Involved page and go to our event calendar for more details.
