2018 Summit Venues

The Intrepid Air, Sea & Space Museum

Docked on the Hudson River, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is a New York City landmark. The museum is housed in a genuine WWII aircraft carrier — the USS Intrepid —and features dozens of restored vintage aircraft, the world’s fastest jets, a guided missile submarine, and a space shuttle, the Enterprise. Exhibitions throughout the museum highlight the groundbreaking technology of the aircraft and vessels, giving visitors an interactive journey through history.

As the venue for the first day of the No Barriers Summit NYC, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is one of the most unique locations we’ve ever chosen for our gathering. We’ll kick Friday off with our Opening Ceremony, held on our main stage at the Museum’s Pier 86, with the Hudson River as the perfect backdrop. Attendees will then be able to participate in completely adaptable activities aboard Intrepid during the day until it’s time to begin the No Barriers Questival, our city-wide scavenger hunt.

ACCESSIBILITY

The areas we’ll be using during the No Barriers Summit will be fully-accessible, including restrooms, dining areas, the flight deck, hangar deck, and pier.

For more information about accessible resources at the Museum, visit their Intrepid website.
