Creator, inventor, and icon in the adaptive climbing world, Mark made history by becoming the
first paraplegic to climb El Capitan and Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Mark skied across the Sierra Nevada Mountains twice, unassisted, and recently circumnavigated Lake Tahoe via kayak, in winter. A wheelchair user for over 30 years, he is recognized in the disabled community and throughout the nation as the guy with the creative and innovative ideas.

Mark has co-produced four films with legendary filmmaker Eric Perlman about people with disabilities doing adventure sports. He has worked with many television shows, including as stunt coordinator for Providence (TV series), and has appeared in national television shows and commercials such as Sesame Street and The Extremist as well as European and Japanese programs.

Mark has worked and is currently working with many organizations for the disabled, including Administration Hospitals, Disabled Sports USA, Wounded Warrior Project, Valor Heroes, Paralympic Sports Chapters, and No Barriers.

Mark and Carole’s business, No Limits, works with many climbing companies in creating his adaptive climbing packages, as well as customized adaptive climbing seminars.
