No Barriers is committed to an accessible experience for all.  In addition to a variety of wheelchair accessible hotel rooms and services, lodging staff is trained to help accommodate guests of all abilities. In fact,  an on-location Disabled Access Ambassador is available to help guests navigate the property and answer any questions.

Accessible options at Resort at Squaw Creek include: Audio-visual smoke detectors, close-captioned television decoders, front door alerting device, portable bathtub benches, roll-in showers*, telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD), telephone alerting device, vibrating alarm clocks and wheelchair-accessible climate controls, closet poles, doors, fitness center, peepholes, public restrooms and vanities.

If you were not able to reserve a room with a roll-in shower the spa at the resort does have one available for all  Summit attendees.

If you need a shower bench, raised toilet seat, or handheld shower nozzle, please let us know and we can provide this items for you. We cannot provide accessible equipment at other hotels.

Accessible Lodging Checklist

For the Summit community events including Opening Ceremony, No Barriers University and Closing Ceremony: accessibility services will be available which include American Sign Language (ASL) translation, Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART), Closed Captioning and Live Audio Description. In addition, these services will be available free of charge upon request.
